Why "Untold"
Named for what the usual directories miss.
Yorke Peninsula Untold started as a slow-travel story project, the small stuff the big travel sites skip. The directory grew out of the same instinct: most "local" listings online are filed by head office, not by anyone who's actually driven the road to get here.
Where we couldn't verify a business ourselves, we've left the listing plain rather than padded out with guesswork. A blank description here isn't an oversight, it's an open invitation for the owner to tell their own story.

Wallaroo JettyBuilt in 1861 to ship copper ore from what was once the largest smelter outside Wales. Wallaroo was the Peninsula's busiest port until 1923, now the jetty is for fishing, not freight.
